One of the benefits of being part of many creative groups, is that you get to meet so many amazing people. I was travelling down to the Oregon coast and wanted to make sure that I didn’t let such beautiful scenery go to waste. I made a post in one of my photographer groups on Facebook asking if anyone would be interested in meeting me there for quick photo shoot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was heading down there with a dear friend to celebrate her birthday, as well as to photograph the Super moon that weekend. Cannon Beach in Oregon, is a truly magical place anytime of the year. I was very fortunate that Brienne took me up on the offer in made the drive over from Vancouver, Washington.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brienne is an amazing newborn photographer<\/a>, and one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. We were so excited to get together and make this session happen. As soon as she arrived, it was like we had known each other for years. We chatted about the location, the amazing hotel we were staying at, and the outfits for the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once Brienne got changed into the dress from Tiadora Bridal<\/a>, we headed down to the water to make some magic happen. I have to tell you, the water at Cannon Beach in February is COLD! Brienne is such a trooper, she took her boots off and walked right in the surf with that super heavy gown on and looked stunning the entire time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We walked along the coast, chatting and taking pictures, watching families run up the beach trying not to get wet and dogs running in and out of the surf. After we got some great images in the wedding gown, we headed back up to the hotel for an outfit change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This time, a darling summer dress from The House of Fynn<\/a>. Back down to the beach and by this time, it was just great conversation, laughing and getting to know each other better. We did stop to take a few images here and there, but we were really enjoying the conversation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of our session, we said our goodbyes and promised to stay in touch. Later that night, I slipped down to the beach and got a few great sunset shots and chased the supermoon.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
